Casanova: Toulouse and OM with similar seasons
By: Dave Trotter | October 29th, 2009
On Toulouse’s website today, Toulouse manager Alain Casanova said that Olympique Marseille has suffered from many of the same problems that Toulouse has encountered this season. He said that Le Tef, just like OM, started off the season slowly and are playing under their potential.
Casanova said that he feels that the late addition of Lucho Gonzalez to the Marseille lineup has made it harder for Marseille to work together as a team. And, like Toulouse, Marseille have suffered from a number of injuries that has made it harder for any team to work together.
But, with these problems, Casanova says that this will be a hard matchup for Toulouse. Since the 3-0 win against Nancy, Casanova said that the thought that Marseille would have beaten Paris St-Germain, and would be coming into Saturday’s match with a lot of momentum.
Here is the link to his interview.
In other Toulouse news, Andre-Pierre Gignac said that he is was glad to score his second goal of the season, even though he was not 100% healthy. He also stated that he feels that Moussa Sissoko will exceed 10 goals this season.
When asked if he felt like he has gained a new rival for the scoring title in Toulouse, Gignac took the high road. “Regardless, I just want to make sure that we are in a good place [in the standings],” said Gignac. “We didn’t get into the Europe League spot until the last week of last season. But we are in good form right now.”

I think Sissoko will score more than 10. More like 12-13.

I hope either Lyon or Marseille buy Sissoko & Gignac. Till then keep up the good work with Le Tef.
